+Watch an experienced teacher show you how to make wagashi from scratch.
+Make the sweets under expert supervision.
+Taste the confections together with a cup of tea from award-winning Kyoto tea merchant Rishouen. Participants will make enough sweets to sample in class and to take home with them. Recipes in English will also be provided.
1, Ichigo-Daifuku
Glutinous rice cake stuffed with strawberry. Participants get to make two sweets, which should be consumed on the day that they are made.

2, Sakura-mochi
When spring has come, many Japanese will be anxious about the movement of the cherry-blossom front. In the Edo Era, sakura-mochi was sold at places known for beautiful cherry blossoms.
